Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest and deacons in distributing communion during Mass. You must be at least 18 years of age, fully initiated into the Church, and have a well-formed faith and moral commitment to be an Extraordinary Minister. If married, the marriage must be in accordance with Catholic Church teaching. Ministers are approved by the Pastor based on the above requirements and mandated by the Archbishop. *There are also opportunities to take communion to the sick and homebound. Required training is provided.
